Set with a core of new synthetic fibre, the E-string has a plain steel core and loop end. The Violino strings from the Pirastro company have a modern synthetic core. The outstanding price/quality ratio makes them also suitable for beginning players and students. Compared to the Evah Pirazzi and Obligato strings, the Violino strings have a lower string tension and are especially suited for violins which are unable to cope with tension of other synthetic core strings. They have a sound which can be described as smooth, very warm with a lot of colour to them to allow the nuances of the music to be interpreted well. The strings are well balanced and very stable.
