Set with a synthetic core. The A- and D-string are aluminium wound. The Aricore strings from the Pirastro company are synthetic cello strings with a dark timbre and a warm sound. They are very tuning stable. For a brighter timbre the A- and D-string are also available with chromesteel wound. Ideal for musicians suffering from perspiration.
