Helicore bass strings are available in Orchestral, Solo, Hybrid, and Pizzicato, each designed with specific uses in mind. The Orchestral line has an excellent bow response and a warm sound. The Solo line is similar to the Orchstral line, except it's tuned one whole step higher. The Hybrid line has a good sustain for plucking, yet mountains a good repsonse when bowing, and is great for both. The Pizzicato line has a long sustain and "growl" for pizzicato.
